Instructions for setting up the Ad Blocker service for customers of Internet Solutions.

To see what a difference this makes, go to The Gadsden Times

before setting up this service. Check out all the ads and the length of time it takes to load. When you are done setting it up using the instructions below, visit the site again (hit the refresh button if you are still on the site), and look at the difference! These instructions are for Internet Explorer.   If you need help setting up Netscape please email us at support@internetpro.net.
1. Make sure you have Internet Explorer open.
2. Click "Tools" on the top menu.
3. Choose "Internet Options" from the menu.
4. Click the "Connections" tab at the top of this window.
You should be at this window:

5. In the white box click on the name of the connection you use to connect to Internet Solutions if it's not already highlighted.
6. Click the "Settings" button in the right center.
7. In the center of this window you will see a Proxy Server area.
8. Put a check in the box next to "Use a proxy server".
9. Click in the "Address:" blank.
10. Type in "adblocker.internetpro.net" without the quotes.
11. Click in the "Port" blank.
12. Type in "3128" again without the quotes.
This is how it should look when you have finished:

13. Click "OK"
14. Click "OK" again.
Now your browser is setup to use the new Internet Solutions Ad Blocking Service. Should you come across a page with ads or pop-ups that are not being blocked please send the page address to support@internetpro.net and we will add it to the blocked list.

NOTE: Blocking ads will sometimes cause script errors on pages that you are viewing. This is normal and is not something wrong with the ad blocking service. This happens because sometimes part of the script being run is located in the ad itself. When the ad is blocked, the script may break. Usually, it does not affect much, and blocking the ads is worth it.
